Cloud Source

The Cloud Source tab in Gesund.ai’s Data Hub allows you to connect external S3 buckets and browse their contents directly inside the platform. From there, you can launch data imports into organized datasets.

1. Viewing Linked Cloud Sources

Go to Data Hub > Cloud Source to see a list of all connected cloud buckets.

Each cloud source entry shows:

  • Name of the source
  • Bucket name and Region
  • Path prefix (default folder inside the bucket)
  • Access level: public or private
  • Target / Default marker
  • Date added

To add a new bucket:

  1. Click New Cloud Source.
  2. Fill in bucket credentials and configuration.
  3. Save the connection.

2. Importing Data from a Cloud Bucket

After connecting a bucket:

  1. Click to expand its folder structure.
  2. Navigate to the desired folder.
  3. Click Start Data Import.

You’ll be prompted to fill out:

FieldDescription
NameLabel for the import task
Source TypeSet automatically to Cloud
Cloud SourceChoose the connected bucket
PathFolder path within the bucket
Move FilesMove or copy the files during import
TagsAdd searchable tags to the resulting dataset
Extension FilterRestrict import to specific formats (e.g., .dcm)
AccessSet dataset visibility: Public or Private

Click Import to begin.

3. After Import

  • The new dataset appears in the Datasets tab.
  • You can monitor import progress under the History tab.
  • Use the Explorer tab to review and organize imported files.

Connecting cloud buckets via the Cloud Source module is the fastest way to populate Gesund.ai with real-world imaging data — all while keeping your workflow centralized and efficient.
