Data Hub Explorer

The Explorer tab in Gesund.ai lets you browse and manage studies within the Data Hub using powerful search, filtering, tagging, and cohorting tools.


1. Study Table

Each row represents a study and includes:

  • Study Name & UID
  • Modalities & SOP Classes
  • Instance / Series Count
  • Import Type (e.g., Real Data)
  • Datasets, Tags, Source Tags
  • Patient ID / Pseudonym

2. Filtering & Navigation

You can search by keywords, patient info, or filter by:

  • Modality
  • SOP Class
  • Dataset
  • Tags

Navigation tabs include:

  • Explorer (default)
  • Data Import
  • Cloud Source
  • Stats

3. Bulk Actions

After selecting studies via checkboxes:

  • Add Tag: Apply custom tags for filtering and labeling.
  • Create Dataset: Group selected studies into a dataset.
  • Create Cohort: Build a logical group for validation or analysis.

Create Actions in Explorer

After selecting one or more studies, use the top-right buttons to structure your data.


A. Add Tag

Tags are useful for marking studies with custom labels like COVID, Low Quality, or For Validation.

Steps:

  1. Select studies in Explorer.
  2. Click + Add Tag.
  3. Enter a tag name and optionally choose a color.
  4. Click Confirm.

You’ll now see the tag in the Tags column.


B. Create Dataset

Datasets are used in annotation, model training, or validation.

Steps:

  1. Select studies.
  2. Click + Create Dataset.
  3. Enter:
    • Name (e.g., “Chest CT March 2024”)
    • Type: Real or Synthetic
    • Optional tags or description
  4. Click Create.

The new dataset appears in the Datasets tab.


C. Create Cohort

Cohorts define study groups for validation or focused analysis.

Steps:

  1. Select studies.
  2. Click + Create Cohort.
  3. Enter:
    • Name (e.g., “Male DX patients over 70”)
    • Optional tags or description
  4. Click Create.

Cohorts can be listed and used later during evaluation steps.


Using tags, datasets, and cohorts helps keep your data organized and ready for downstream AI workflows.
